Our Mission

Our mission as a publication is to create a platform for all students to express their interests, passions, and concerns about our local community or greater global issues through creative journalism.

Our Story

The International Times was founded by Ana Celerier Salcedo (Class 22') in the June of 2019. The newspaper was first named The ALTO Times before the merger of the two schools. Ever since then, the Times has published many articles, posted photography, and art, all made by our students, letting them decide freely what they feel passionate about, and what they would like to communicate with the school. In 2022, Ana graduated from our school as our third graduating class, passing on her role as Editor-In-Chief/President to Lukas Wittig (Class 26'). At the end of the 2022-23 school year, plans were made to change the newspaper drastically, changing from a website to a newsletter, and reorganizing the leadership. These plans finally came into fruition at the beginning of the 2024-25 school year.
